What happens in Vegas is not for everyone

What Happens in Vegas is a combination of laughs, drunken moments and petty party pranks rolled into one feel good romantic comedy.

The storyline is predictable, but the chemistry between the two lead cast members Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher manages to capture the audience’s attention.

The movie has no depth but can offer viewers a couple of laughs and temporary escape from the real world.

The plot is slightly recycled and follows the storyline of most romantic comedies. The movie is about the two lead characters getting drunk; waking up together married and then winning the jackpot at a casino. Winning the jackpot is the only unique element of the storyline and is the main dilemma the main characters are faced with as they struggle to live with each to keep the cash.

What his is hers and what follows are many petty pranks that offer the audience the most laughs.

The genre of the movie at times is varied between a sitcom and romantic comedy. This mixed genre was discovered in the 1930s and 1940s by Stanley Cavell and is based on the plot of failed couples trying to beat the odds and reunite.

What Happens in Vegas has a few minor characters whose unique quirks help build tension between the two main characters Diaz and Kutcher. This is a refreshing aspect of the movie and adds to its climax and lends to the comic aspect of the movie.

This movie is not for everyone, as it can be frustrating, predictable and for those looking for an action packed blockbuster very boring. It is a movie recommended for those looking to enjoy a few laughs with a light-hearted feel good film, which features some very good looking cast members.

A well weighted view of the movie, which gives readers a very clear idea of what to expect. Good job.

I could see this coming in the previews for the movie. I hate predictable movies.
