Australia’s long standing soapie series Home and Away has reached a 20 year bench mark of on air drama and this season is predicted to be nothing short of its reputation, as the show says goodbye to Summer Bay favourite Sally Fletcher (Kate Ritchie).

The season has begun and for Home and Away fans it is sure to live up to expectations. The drama has already started to unfold in Summer Bay.  Sally (Kate Ritchie) has recently survived a near death experience after she was attacked by an ex-criminal.  Viewers are hanging on the edge of their seats wondering what will eventually lead to the farewell of the longstanding character from Summer Bay.

Kate Ritchie was recently interveiwed on the official Home and Away website and feels sad but excited about the prospect of leaving the show which she spent 20 years working on the set of Home and Away. The role as Sally Fletcher also helped her win silver and gold Logies and become recognised as one of Australia's best dramatic actors.
